We are pleased to present you an important update to our simplified test equipment management: In addition to the proven schedule-based maintenance, GOpus® ePMV now also the possibility of condition-dependent calibration.
What is GOpus® ePMV?
GOpus® ePMV (Easy Test Equipment Management) is a comprehensive solution for managing maintenance processes and calibrations of test equipment in the SAP system. Until now, users were able to plan their maintenance work and calibrations mainly on the basis of fixed schedules. However, the new update significantly expands the solution and makes it more flexible.
Condition-based maintenance with measuring points
A central element of the new functionalities are the measuring points. These measuring points can represent different types of counters, such as operating hours or the number of times machines and systems are used. By collecting and enriching data at these measuring points, maintenance and calibration measures can now be triggered based on the actual condition of the devices.
Advantages of Condition-Dependent Calibration
Increased efficiency: By triggering calibrations based on the actual operating conditions, maintenance measures can be planned and carried out more specifically and efficiently. This avoids unnecessary calibrations and extends the service life of the devices.
Data integration: Our solution allows data from other upstream or downstream processes to be taken into account. This provides a more comprehensive view of the health and performance of the equipment.
Central Management: As with all of our solutions, you can also conveniently monitor and manage all measuring points and the associated equipment centrally from the cockpit for condition-based maintenance. This ensures a consistent overview and makes it easier to maintain and update maintenance data.
flexibility: By focusing on measurement points and documents, companies are able to dynamically adapt their maintenance strategies to the actual operating conditions.
