But companies that use other modules also benefit from the integrated correspondence functions in <strong>SAP FI<\/strong>In this context, correspondence means the creation of forms that can be used to communicate with customers or business partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What is correspondence in SAP FI?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SAP FI provides a variety of predefined forms, known as correspondence. These forms can be used to send important information such as payment notices, account statements or open item lists to customers or internally to other departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important correspondence types in SAP FI<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SAP FI correspondence provides various templates that can be adapted as required:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Invoices:<\/strong> Although invoices are usually created using the SAP SD module, there are scenarios where customers forego the SD module and instead create an invoice based on a financial accounting document in SAP FI. Optionally, you can also create e-invoices with GOpus eInvoice and send them from SAP FI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Payment notifications:<\/strong> These forms inform the customer that a payment has been made. With the forms provided, companies can communicate efficiently and flexibly with customers and internal departments, even if no other SAP modules are in use.
