E-Invoicing in Bahrain

The Tax Authority of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the National Bureau for Revenue (NBR), has a Request for Proposal (RFP) entitled "Central Platform and Maintenance for Electronic Invoicing". The RFP describes plans to develop a central platform, defined as "a system that receives and validates e-invoicing data originating from enterprises' integrated e-invoicing solutions".
