E-Invoicing in the United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates has introduced e-invoicing to make invoicing more efficient, secure, and transparent. Companies can now send their invoices digitally and in a structured manner via accredited service providers to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) The e-invoicing initiative is based on the international Peppol standard and follows the “5-Corner Model”, where accredited service providers (ASPs) act as intermediaries. E-invoicing reduces manual errors, speeds up processing, and facilitates tax compliance. At the same time, it ensures interoperability with international business partners.
