The obligation to use electronic invoices has existed since 2019!

In Colombia, electronic invoicing was introduced as part of the modernization of the tax system and is 2019 mandatory for most companies. The aim is to increase the efficiency and transparency of the tax system. Electronic invoicing is carried out via the platform of the Tax and Customs Authority DIAN (Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales).
