E-Invoicing in Niger

E-invoicing is increasingly seen in Niger as an important step towards digitization and improving transparency in accounting. 2021 Companies create their invoices digitally and submit them electronically to the Nigerien tax authority "Le Système électronique certifié de invoicing (SECeF)", which checks and validates it in real time. After approval by the authority, the invoice is forwarded to the recipient and can be integrated directly into their accounting system.
