GOpus® Multi Level Subcontracting

With GOpus® Multi Level Subcontracting A purchase requisition can be created automatically for several suppliers. The sub-supplier receives the information to send the finished product directly to the next supplier or sub-supplier. The entire logistics chain can be monitored using the purchase requisition number. In addition to smaller customizing adjustments (e.g. setting up a new special procurement type with multi-level contract processing), programs developed by GOpus are used to map the multi-level supply chain in a purchase requisition.

Key features of GOpus® MLSC:

1. Purchase requisition (BANF): A BANF is an internal document that signals the need for materials or services. In multi-stage contract processing, the BANF serves as a central element for monitoring the entire process.
2. Supplier management: Every supplier or subcontractor in the chain must know exactly what tasks he has to do and when they have to be completed.
3. material flow: The material flow must be seamless between the different stages of processing. This includes the transport of materials between subcontractors and the monitoring of material stocks.
4. Quality control: Quality control must be carried out at each stage of processing to ensure that the product meets requirements.
5. Documentation and traceability: All steps in the process must be documented and traceable.

A common problem for SAP users is that the multi-stage process cannot be fully mapped according to the SAP standard “Business Function”, since in addition to the SAP ERP system, an SAP Supply Network Collaboration System (SAP SNC) is also required. GOpus® MLSC it is possible to use the multi-level subcontracting process even without an SAP Supply Network Collaboration system. In addition, it is possible to navigate from the SAP stock/requirements list (MD04 or /SAPLOM/MD04=Advanced MD04) via a "jump" to the SAP purchase order in the associated purchase requisition document, which can be seen as a bracket for the entire multi-level process. The order development of the entire multi-level subcontracting can be displayed and monitored for each purchase requisition item.
