E-invoicing is currently being introduced worldwide. All countries are gradually making e-invoicing the standard for sending invoices. The goal of the B2B obligation in Germany has now been stated in the Growth Opportunities Act. The receipt of electronic invoices will therefore be mandatory from 2025.
Electronic ordering (XBestellung) is also currently in the pilot phase in Germany.
