E-Invoicing in Benin

In Benin, the e-invoice, known as “Facture normalisée”, was introduced in 2020 Introduced by the government as mandatory. The "Facture normalisée" ensures that all invoices are created in a standardized electronic format, which promotes transparency and traceability. The implementation and monitoring of the e-invoicing system is carried out by the Directorate General of Taxes, which is responsible for compliance with the new regulations.
