2016: National Health Service (NHS) introduces mandatory e-invoicing.
2025: Planning a nationwide requirement for electronic invoicing.
applicability
The e-invoice primarily covers Business to Business (B2B) transactions.
format
UN/EDIFACT, EANCOM, ODETTE, XML and ASCII and PDFformats. In the health sector, PEPPOL BIS must be used.
Electronic signature
Electronic signatures are not mandatory.
Archiving
E-invoices must 6 years be archived.
