E-Invoicing in New Zealand

The use of electronic invoices is voluntary for both B2G and B2B!

The New Zealand government is actively supporting the introduction of electronic invoicing to promote integration between businesses, governments and international trading partners. The country is working closely with Australia together to create a trans-Tasman To create a system that facilitates cross-border e-invoicing processes. This is made possible by the Peppol network, an internationally recognized framework for the secure and standardized exchange of electronic documents. Companies register with a certified Peppol access pointwho acts as an intermediary between the parties involved.
