Zimbabwe has introduced mandatory electronic invoicing as part of its efforts to modernise tax collection and combat tax evasion. January 2022 Companies in the country must pay their invoices via the platform ZIMRA Fiscalization System the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) This platform allows tax-relevant data to be transmitted to the authorities in real time. With this measure, Zimbabwe aims to improve the efficiency and transparency of the tax system while ensuring corporate compliance.
