Store any files in SAP using an ABAP report
With the ABAP report “GOpus® document upload” you have a flexible and generic SAP tool available to you Upload any files directly from a local directory to SAP The documents are called “Business Documents” and are then linked to the relevant SAP objects.
In addition, GOpus® BDS for the flexible, mass data-capable upload of any files into the SAP system. SAP ArchiveLink – and in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud alternatively via the modern standard CMIS – Documents are automatically archived and directly assigned to the appropriate SAP objects. Whether digitization, migration, or simply daily document storage – BDS processes large volumes of data efficiently and is fully integrated with SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA.
For customers who work in the public cloud or want to use CMIS as an interface, GOpus will also offer GOpus® Cloud Archive – our newly developed cloud archiving solution that integrates seamlessly with SAP and fully utilizes the benefits of CMIS.
Thanks to its intuitive handling, the report is suitable for both manual document filing as well as for the Bulk upload of multiple files, e.g. in the context of digitization projects or archive migrations.
Highlights
- Any SAP ArchiveLink object type can be used (e.g. EQUI, BUS2012, etc.)
- Document type can be defined via SAP Customizing and is visible in the GOS (services for the object)
