SAP Business Warehouse (BW) is a business intelligence system based on SAP NetWeaver for managing business and company-wide data. It was developed by SAP to cope with the ever-growing volume of data and the large number of different data sources. SAP BW helps companies create a central, integrated data source that comes from many different source systems. SAP BW gives companies the opportunity to obtain an accurate and up-to-date overview of all relevant data and activities.

SAP BW is often used in combination with other SAP products such as SAP HANA , SAP BusinessObjects and SAP Data Services. It provides a single source of data for analysis and reporting, enabling companies to gain consistent and accurate insights into their business processes. SAP BW can also be integrated with other data sources such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
