In addition, SAP FI contains practical functions for preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow reports and sales tax statements.

Functionalities are available for financial management that enable efficient management of working capital, risk-based financial planning and optimized credit risk assessment. SAP Financial Accounting can also be used to analyze and evaluate trends, relationships and comparisons between financial data.

SAP FI can also be used with other SAP modules to ensure optimal control and management of financial processes. These include Controlling (CO)Materials management (MM)Production planning & control (PP), the Sales and distribution logistics (SD) and Human Capital Management (HCM).
