E-Invoicing in Finland

In Finland, electronic invoicing is mandatory!

E-invoicing has become a central part of the economy in Finland and is supported by clear legal requirements and a modern technical infrastructure. Since 2020 are public institutions (B2G) to accept electronic invoices in a uniform format, thereby increasing efficiency in accounting and minimising sources of error. In Finland, there is no state platform, but companies can choose a private provider for the creation and sending of invoices, such as Peppol, eBilling, Handi Service or Post Network Service. B2B sector E-invoicing is not yet mandatory.
